Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the Vocablish app or the vocablish.app website. Vocablish is made by Laszlo Kiss, an independent developer ("we", "us"). By using Vocablish you agree to them, so please read them.

Using Vocablish
You may use Vocablish for your own learning. You may not misuse it: do not try to disrupt or overload our servers, get around their limits, use them for anything other than the app, or copy, resell or reverse engineer the service.
If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you got it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply. Where they conflict with these terms on matters they cover, they take priority.
AI-generated content
Definitions, example sentences, word suggestions, translations and the feedback on your answers are written by AI language models. They are usually clear and correct, but they can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Treat them as a study aid, not as an authoritative dictionary, and check anything important against another source.
If you find a mistake, use Report a problem with this word on the word's page, or write to hello@vocablish.app.
Exams
Vocablish can suggest words useful for IELTS and TOEFL preparation. It does not guarantee any exam score or result, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by ETS or the IELTS partners.
Your content
The words, notes and explanations you add are yours, and they stay on your phone. To make the features work, the app sends some of that text to our server and service providers, as described in the privacy policy.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve Vocablish without owing you anything for them.
Availability and changes
Vocablish is free. Some features rely on internet services, which can be slow or unavailable at times. We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop offering Vocablish. Your words stay on your phone either way, and you can export them at any time from Settings > Data > Export words.
No warranty
Vocablish is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Vocablish. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Vocablish changes. We will post the new version on this page with its date, and for significant changes we will also let you know in the app or on this website. Continuing to use Vocablish after a change means you accept the updated terms.
